Me and My Issues

In the beginning of the year, I decided to challenge myself to be more social and overall become a conversationalist. An ultimate ability to engage in a coherent conversation with strangers, without the awkwardness. Often times, I have reservations of engaging myself into a crowd, because of the fear of being judged. A common fear that everyone has but should be eliminated from our minds; because at the end of the day, we shouldn't really care what people think of us, just as long as we are happy.

A staple piece that any wardrobe should have is a crisp, pristine, white shirt. It is such a versatile piece to own, because it literally goes with anything and everything. Here, I paired it with  dark denim and my go-to loafers, for an easy quick outfit.

With spring finally deciding to join us and grace us with beautiful weather, Sabina and I hurried down to Buffalo for a quick road trip adventure.

 It was day 3 of Toronto fashion week and mother nature decided to be extremely generous, and gift the city with some rain. I was extremely hopeful that the weather forecast would be wrong, that was short-lived when Sabina and I had to go through buildings and walk as fast as we can to avoid getting wet.

On the first day of fashion week, I decided to pay a little homage to the Canadian Tuxedo with some denim on denim. I opted for this blazer instead of a denim jacket because of the details: collarless, two-tone and the side slits.

First off, I would like to apologize for disappearing and leaving the duties of updating this blog on Kenny. 2014 has been a very busy time, and I know that's no excuse but having to work seven days is extremely tiring.

Five days before Christmas and I can officially say, I have completed my Christmas shopping. This year I decided to make a list and a budget and boy did that work wonders for me. I have been extremely productive and accomplished my entire list in a two day shopping part!

What a great relaxing weekend, spent with great company at our annual Divuh Christmas party! Every year,  my friends and I celebrate Christmas by congregating over an endless supply of food, laughter, drinks, games and more food. The air was filled with howling laughter and chuckles, we made sure our night was fun and memorable.

Oh Baby It's Cold Out. Brr

Holymothercracker! Can I just start off by saying, welcome winter! It is horrifyingly too cold outside,  making it very difficult to shoot outdoors without the incessant shivering or fear of getting a frostbite. We have been experiencing temperatures as low as negative twelve (-12)! Crazy! So it is a definite must to bundle up before walking out in the tundra. Brrr. B*tch is it cold out!

 Happy friday the thirteenth!

I am not as superstitious about this day as others might be. But I remember as a child, my grandmother would tell me to be careful and be cautious during this day because of the stigma affiliated with it. That has clearly worn off of me though, so today is just as any other.

Yet another freezing day we've experienced today. But who's complaining? I am of course. I cannot stress enough how important it is to bundle up appropriately for the weather. But for times where I decide to wear shoes that leaves exposed skin out, for the cold weather to freeze, I make sure I am well-moisturized to minimize ashiness. Cause girllll, no one wants to see that.

Pink Tartan Private Event

Kenny here, last night, Sabina and I attended a private shop and cocktail event hosted by Pink Tartan at their Yorkville shop. We were welcomed with fine wine and delectable hor d'oeurves that made our shopping experience more enjoyable. The store was filled with beautiful investment pieces that will last a life time.

Tis The Season To Be Spending

First of, let it be known that I absolutely cannot live life without these faux leather pants. I have been wearing it obsessively and I just cannot get enough. Also, for such an amazing price point at $40, a pair! I am definitely thinking of picking up another pair or two, just for back-up. Because you just never know.

 Most of my day was spent with my friend Robin. "Christmas Shopping" was super productive. Not.
