Today was a great day; filled with food, laughter and then more food. Wait, I can't forget about the great company that came with it. The day began with gray skies and with no sign of the sun in sight. But that was not going to stop up from enjoying our day.

Walk In The Park

Today is a glorious day. Although, I haven't done anything particularly productive. I have however, caught up on some well needed rest. These days I tend to get tired easily and would rather choose the comfort of my bed over "fun". Fun just consumes too much energy. At least for me.

Today was rather chilly in the city, hence why I decided to go with an overgrown sparkly sweater paired with a stripe chiffon collared blouse. This is my go-to "I have nothing to wear" ensemble.

A perfect fall day. I love the sound of crisp leaves breaking as I  step on them. With all the leaves on the ground and December fast approaching, it just means that, it is bound to get colder. And I mean COLDER. So I thought, I could take advantage of wearing shoes that do not require socks while the weather still permits.

Today was quite the gloomy day. Normally, I prefer to stay in bed watching movies or back-to-back episodes on Netflix. Too bad I had to go to work earlier. Well complaining aside, this was an easy outfit put together for this lazy Sunday. I am wearing leather pants and a chunky sweater; a perfect go-to combination that is fool proof. I love this particular sweater because of its versatility, by simply unrolling the neck, it could easily turn into a hoodie. 

Now all I need is a cup of tea.

Black Boot 101

Kenny here. I am currently on the hunt for the perfect black leather ankle boot this season. They just literally go with everything. For the longest time, I pried away from black footwear, just because I would naturally gravitate towards anything brown. Black On Black On Black

If you take a peek into my closet, what you'll find is black.

Now, I wouldn't call it an obsession but black seems to be the only colour I've been liking these days; with a few exceptions of grey, cream and beige. It is however becoming a bit of a problem. I can't help but collect numerous black blouses. I mean, they all fit different. Feel different. Even look different.

I am however obsessed with the idea of black on black on black. It's my go-to look on days when I have zero inspiration or energy to pull a decent outfit together...like today. So, I put on my burgundy lipstick and went on with my busy day.

Kenny here. Today's look is very casual,  much of my day was spent in the comfort of my house. I just had to run some errands and hoping to enjoy some of the beautiful sunshine. But that was short lived, I was bombarded with chilly breezy wind. 

When dressing up in the morning, I always like to dress according to the weather. But I tend to ignore the normal methods of checking the temperature such as the weather network or checking an app on my phone. Instead I rely with what I see outside my window. I have my hits and misses. Today was like no other, I looked out the window, the sun was gleaming almost like a summery day. Then as soon as I stepped outside I was welcomed with cold breeze. Does this happen to anyone else or is it just me?

Today felt like the first day of winter; it was absolutely freezing out. So, I decided to layer it up in a way that was still appropriate for the office. The sweater-blouse combo never fails when it comes to keeping it chic yet cozy. And adding a bright green purse to my very neutral ensemble was just the "pop" I needed.
